The Daily Wild exists for people who are craving something deeper than surface-level connection. It is for those who feel worn down by constant motion, unfulfilling work, and relationships that lack meaning. It is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with what’s real by exploring the natural world and the animals who live within it. Animals matter here because they are instinctual, fascinating, and deeply wise, trusting themselves, responding honestly to their environments, and offering lessons we can carry into our own lives.
Hi there,
The Daily Wild started quietly, with watercolor paints, long walks, and a growing feeling that nature was trying to remind me of something I had forgotten.
I began noticing how different I felt after spending time outside. Not transformed overnight or suddenly enlightened, just calmer, clearer, and a little more connected to myself.
Around that same time, certain animals kept appearing in meaningful ways. A fox walking slowly through my backyard in broad daylight. A turtle crossing the path at exactly the right moment. Little encounters that felt less random the more attention I paid to them.
What struck me most was how naturally animals move through the world. They trust their instincts. They rest when they need to. They adapt. They protect their energy. They stay curious about what’s around them.
I started painting these animals as reminders… not as something mystical, but as reflections of qualities we already carry within ourselves and sometimes need help remembering.
One painting became a collection. The collection became a card deck. And somewhere along the way, The Daily Wild became a way to help people slow down, reconnect, and notice what resonates.
My hope is that these cards, paintings, and tiny wild companions bring a little more curiosity, presence, and intention into everyday life.
Thanks for being here and exploring the wild with me.
Stay Curious. Stay Present. Stay Wild.
